Golden Crest Retrievers Terms and Conditions

1. Non-Refundable Deposit

By placing a deposit with Golden Crest Retrievers, you acknowledge that all deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are considered a commitment to reserve a puppy from a current or future litter. Please ensure that you are ready to welcome a puppy into your home before placing a deposit. We encourage you to plan carefully and only make a deposit if you are prepared to pick up your puppy within one year of your deposit date.

You have the option to skip puppy litters up to one year from your deposit date. After one year, if you have not selected a puppy, your deposit will be forfeited. We have an average of 4-6 litters per year, giving you multiple opportunities to choose from within this time frame.

2. Puppy Selection Process

Puppy selection will take place when the puppies are approximately 6 weeks old. During this time, we will provide a puppy-picking weekend where you can select your puppy in person. If you are unable to attend the puppy-picking event in person, we kindly ask that you use the multiple videos and photos we provide to make your puppy selection.

3. Scheduling Considerations

  We understand that schedules can be pretty busy. However, we kindly ask that you consider that the scheduled puppy-picking weekend and pickup dates are provided to you 6 to 8 weeks in advance, allowing ample time to arrange your schedule accordingly. If the puppy-picking dates or pickup times do not align with your availability, we kindly request that you consider waiting for a future litter that better matches your schedule.

By placing a deposit with Golden Crest Retrievers, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that you understand and accept our policies regarding non-refundable deposits, puppy picking, and scheduling.
